  • Wednesday Evening, Apr. 06 2016:

    Visit of the exhibition "From Abacus to Exascale - Vom Abakus zu Exascale" in the Museum of Industrial Culture (german website).

    ISER

    The exhibition is a project of the Informatik Sammlung Erlangen (ISER).

    ISER is one of the largest collections of computer history in Germany. One of the most outstanding pieces is the ZUSE 23, constructed by the famous computer pioneer Konrad Zuse, which is one of only two still runnable machines.

    On 330 m˛ area the exhibtion offers a ramble through the development of computer science history with a special focus of the activities on the Computer Science Department at FAU.
